Abstract The primary objective at Integrated Ocean Drilling Program Site U1357 (proposed Site ADEL-01B) was to recover a continuous approx. 200 m Holocene sedimentary section from the Adélie Basin located on the Antarctic continental shelf off the Wilkes Land margin.
