Abstract Summarizes observations of seabirds foraging on introduced salmonid fish in Kerguelen Islands, mainly small numbers of Kerguelen shag Phalacrocorax verrucosus foraging on brown trout Salmo trutta and brook charr Salvelinus frontinalis, though some gentoo penguins have been observed walking upstream alongside rivers too shallow for swimming.
